Ismail has spent more than 20 years at the intersection of financial markets and technology, with experience spanning software development, investment management technology and client transformation.
Before founding FinBursa, he was Director and Head of Client Transformation for the Middle East and Africa at BlackRock. He previously spent seven years at eFront, where he led Professional Services in the Middle East and worked with sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors and investment managers across multiple markets. Earlier in his career, he worked at Brookfield Asset Management, delivering software and data solutions across the organisation.
He founded FinBursa to build what that experience showed was missing: a collaborative front office that gives private capital firms one system of record and the intelligence to use it.
